"SATURDAY NIGHT JAZZ DTLA" is jazz every Saturday night, some Fridays, and some Thursdays in downtown L.A.!
Curated by jazz vocalist and community builder, Cathy Segal-Garcia, the Jazz is held in "Bar Fedora",
a '20's style performance room in the back of award winning Vegan restaurant, "AU LAC".
Situated diagonally across from the elegant
"Dorothy Chandler Pavillion", just behind the "Disney Red Cat Theatre", and around the corner from the new
Broad Museum, the restaurant "AU LAC" is the perfect place for having a wonderful dining experience and a
truly exciting and unusual Saturday night Jazz experience!
Every Saturday is a different style of jazz, performed by the best jazz musicians and vocalists this city has to offer, with high level guest artists from out of town as well.

**Performances are from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
There is 2 item minimum (dinner and/or drinks)
$7 validated parking underground. Parking entrance is on 1st.
We are located in "The Promenade" strip mall on the corner of 1st Street and Hope Street, catty-corner from the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion and behind the Disney Red-Cat Theatre.
It's GREAT to take the TRAIN downtown. Very easy!
TAKING THE METRO is quick and easy with these simple directions: Metro Red or Purple Line to Civic Center/Grand Park Station or the Gold Line to Union Station or Little Tokyo/Arts District Station. Plan your best route using the Trip Planner.
PLAN AHEAD! If you are driving, our parking garage entrance is on 1st, just past the tiny "Promenade" strip mall. When you pull in to the driveway, take the first drive on the left into the garage.
Take your ticket to be validated, in order to pay the
reduced rate of $7. The parking attendant will direct you to
the elevator and stairs. It's just one short flight up.
PLAN AHEAD -- If you think it will be a 'packed' night ... you may want to just park at one of these following parking locations!
**If by any chance the lot is full, please park at Disney Hall
on 2nd Street, between Hope and Grand Aves, for $9.
**Parking is also available at The Broad Museum in the garage underneath the museum, entrance on 2nd Street between Hope Street and Grand Avenue. $12 weeknights after 5 p.m. and all day weekends.
The restaurant that Bar Fedora is in, "Au Lac", is in the middle corner of the stores. When you enter the restaurant you will most likely be greeted by a hostess who will direct you to the back corner of the restaurant where Bar Fedora and the Jazz await you! If there is no hostess there at the moment, feel free to walk to the back and find us! "Au Lac" is filled with friendly staff, so don't hesitate to ask any of them for help.
The bathrooms are on the left as you walk in the front door.
